Mary A. Glasser

Mary A. Glasser, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2026.  She was born in Barberton on June 15, 1951 to the late Robert and Agnes Baker. Mary graduated from Barberton High School, Class of 1970.  She retired from Barberton City Schools Cafeteria. She was an active member of Lakeview Christian Church where she participated in the Women’s Ministry and Quilting Group. Mary is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles “Pat” Glasser Jr.; sons, Patrick (Abby) Glasser and Brian (Nichole) Glasser; grandchildren, Caleb, Anderson, Jacob, Molly and Leonel Glasser; sister, Sandy Headrick; brother, Ret. Col. Robert “Bob” (Milly) Baker; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Christian Church, 4613 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44319 with Jim Gindlesberger officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 and also 1 hour prior to Mary’s funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lakeview Christian Church.
